SYNOPSIS
Five years ago, Joah was culled - kidnapped by the government to be trained as a soldier. In the process, his memory was erased and his past destroyed. But he managed to retain the memory of his name. With this, he escapes from the facility to find someone who can help him reclaim his identity. And that man is Tobin - his husband, who has never given up hope of finding him again.
Tobin has kept photographs and mementos of their life together and the friends that they had. Despite Tobin’s efforts and Joah’s desire to remember, it doesn’t succeed. So they decide to take a more radical step together…

WHAT I LOVED ABOUT NARRATING THIS STORY
The writing! It’s beautiful. A lot is written as an internal monologue from Joah’s point of view, and this is a man whose memories have been erased. So while he has no past to refer to, he experiences everything in the present. And he feels. While he can’t remember neceessarily, he can feel emotions. And there is a footprint that is left by love, touch, sex.
